About the Artist

Frank Turek is a born-and-raised New England artist. His aesthetics and philosophy reflect the regional zeitgeist of Emersonian transcendentalism mixed with Continental European thought.
Since 1984 Turek has been residing in the quiescent little burg of Portland, Maine, where he quietly works away on his boxed assemblage art.
