The inside cover is covered with a black-and-white photograph of large hot air balloon holding what looks to be about 30 people in its basket. In the bottom left corner is an illustration drawing of a polar bear and her cub. On the upper left side of the inside cover is a clipping from a grammar primer of examples of vowel pronunciations. This clipping is tacked down with red map tacks. The frame is covered with a blue patterned wallpaper fabric featuring an array of vertical lines. Inside the main compartment is a color photograph of sheep crossing a bridge. On top of this picture, to the right, is a silk daisy. Below the daisy is a plastic doll arm extending downward. At the top of this picture is a text clipping which says “how far away is the skyline”. Inset in the top of the frame is an angled mirror. The side panels are two sepia-toned portrait paintings. The bottom section of this assemblage is a boxed-in area with an opaque glass top and a peephole in the center. The illustration on the front shows two hands manipulating iron filings on a piece of paper over a magnet. Within the peephole we can see a toy elephant.
