My technique is in the margins of the dominant trend in altered book art. Most altered book artists will utilize the existing book as a whole as the source material. About the Artist

Frank Turek is a born and raised New England artist. His aesthetics and philosophy reflects the regional zeitgeist of Emersonian transcendentalism mixed with Continental European thought.
Since 1984 Turek has been residing in the quiescent little burg of Portland, Maine where he quietly works away on his boxed assemblage art.
